More blurry trees

I just keep getting blurrier and blurrier. Here's another picture of blurry trees from Maquoketa Caves State Park.

The funny thing about all these blurry pictures is that I found that they all looked better when I used a tripod.

Tim,

I really liked the last one, but this one strikes me even more.

I think the previous picture had a much more abstract feeling to it. This one falls into the realm of being a recognizable subject, but has a dream-like, painterly feel to it. Very nice.

So are these images evolving from a happy accident, or did you set out to deliberately try something out of the ordinary?

I think this is probably my favorite from the day too. I'll have one or two more to put up, but I don't think they'll work as well for me as this one.

I went in trying to do something like this, so it's not just a happy accident. They turned out better than I hoped they would, though.
