We went to one of the neatest small town festivals I've been to in a while on Saturday. It's in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, and it's called Chalk the Walk. People were painting pictures on Main Street using sidewalk chalk. The festival ran through Sunday, so when we were there, the pictures were still in progress. I wanted to go back on Sunday to see the finished product, but we didn't have time.
There was a huge picture from Where the Wild Things Are that anyone could contribute to. It was huge. Here's a very small part of it.
I saw this while out scouting locations for a portrait the other day. I never did find the right spot for the portrait, but I do like this photo. And now I'm back to putting borders around photos. I think the black and whites look good with the white border. I wish I knew how to make the picture bigger. I know there's a way. I've seen it done. Thoughts anyone?
